Young Golfers
Young people interested in either taking up the game for the first time or joining the Club are more than welcome at Dunbar Golf Club.
The Club has a long history of producing good golfers and European Tour Player David Drysdale, Alexander Culverwell, a Lothians Champion and Danny Kay who narrowly lost in the Semi Finals of the Scottish Boys are only a few of a long list of names that have brought honour to Dunbar Golf Club since their junior days here.
The Club are very supportive of junior golf and as such participate heavily in Club Golf, a national strategy designed to encourage youngsters (from age 9) from schools into the game. Dunbar has 12 volunteer coaches qualified to PGA standards who deliver the Club Golf Programme at level 1 and 2 to around 50-60 children from the Dunbar area. There are now around 20 of these children who have progressed onto level 3 and are now coached by our fully qualified Professional Staff. Anyone interested in Club Golf can click on the following links for further information or can contact the Club on 01368 862317.
